FAQ

Q. Will using a remanufactured cartridge alone void warranty?

A.  No! In fact, anyone who tells you that is violating the law, which protects your rights as a consumer! If a manufacturer or service person claims this, ask them to put their official non-OEM cartridge policy in writing, most times if challenged they probably won't mention warranty again. If they do, then examine the fine print very carefully. However, an individual repair may not be covered under warranty, only if they can clearly prove the repair occurred as a direct result of the remanufactured cartridge (Don't be misled by this clause). In the unlikely event of that happening, our company will repair it free of charge or credit any repair caused directly by the use of our cartridge. Original warranty legally is still valid after the repair is completed properly. Our experience is that most original manufacturers or service affiliates confuse customers when talking about warranty. Most original manufacturers warn people about recycled products, this should not be surprising, after all they make most of their profits in cartridge sales.

Q. Why should I buy a remanufactured instead of a new one?

A.  You can save 30-60% off the cost of brand name and you are protecting the environment by keeping unwanted plastic and waste out of our landfills. Also, cartridges sold to you as new by some manufacturers are actually remanufactured as well. Look at the bottom or side of your box. Some say "Made in Japan from the highest quality new and recycled materials" while others state "this recovered from the HP Planet Partners Recycling Program" or Canon's "This cartridge may contain reconditioned parts". You're probably paying too much for what is actually a "recycled" cartridge put back into fancy packaging.

Q. I've heard some horror stories about recycled cartridges!

A.  So have we! Those people are called drillers and fillers. They open the cartridge, fill it up and sell it. Drillers and fillers give the remanufacturing a bad name and we are working hard to overcome that. Ask questions before you buy whether it be from us or any other remanufacturer.

Q. What do you do that is different from a driller and filler?

A.  All cartridges are thoroughly inspected, then taken apart and checked for any worn parts. When any are found, they are replaced. Each cartridge is then filled with high quality graphics toner and reassembled. Before each cartridge is packaged, it is then tested to make sure that it meets our high quality standards.

Q. What kind of guarantee do you have?

A.  Glad you asked that. Some manufacturers and remanufacturers only offer a short-term guarantee. We are so confident in out products that we guarantee them for 90 days from date of purchase. In the unlikely event that a repair occurs as a direct result of using our product we will repair the printer free of charge or credit your account.
