On April 8th of 2003 Ribbons Recycled Inc entered into a fundraising program with the IWK Health Care Foundation.

The way this program works is quite simple:

• The dollar value of donated cartridges is tallied, and a cheque is sent every month to the IWK Health Centre Foundation for the dollar value of these collected cartridges.
  
  
• Collected cartridges are recycled, which helps reduce the waste in our local landfills.
  
  
• In addition, used cellular phones can be collected and the dollar value of these phones will also be donated to the IWK.
